David Shire (born, David Lee Shire on July 3, 1937 in Buffalo, New York, USA) is an Academy Award winning and two-time Grammy Award winning American composer, songwriter, singer and music producer who performed, composed and wrote several songs for Shining Time Station.
He is married to Didi Conn and he is the brother-in-law of Richard Bernstein.
