History
It is believed that the original settlers of this land, were guided by their Native-American scouts to a broad and lush valley. According to the story, the sky had been grey and it had been raining for weeks, but when the settlers gazed upon the valley, the clouds parted and as the sun shone through, an enormous rainbow was seen which stretched from one end of the Valley to the other. The settlers knew they had finally found their new home, and named it the Indian Valley in honor of their scouts. This story has been handed down by many generations since, and is immortalized as one of the wall murals at Shining Time Station.
