Muffle Mountain is the mountain Burnett Stone hid in for many years to try to repair Lady from her accident caused by Diesel 10. He lost all hope because of feeling guilty of Lady's disorder and losing his wife. When bringing Lily home, Thomas stopped at the top of the mountain through the Magic Buffers. Unfortunately, a strong wind blew Thomas down the mountainside where he plunged into another portal connecting to the Magic Railroad. When Lady was brought back to life, Thomas managed to catch up with her and followed her back to Sodor.
It is located some distance from Shining Time. It also has a station on Indian Valley Railroad.

- At the Big City train station the track that travels to Muffle Mountain is on Track 3.
- The Muffle Mountain scenes were filmed on Dalby Mountain in the Isle of Man.
- There was a train that runs to this mountain.
- The Muffle Mountain train station was seen in a deleted scene of Thomas and the Magic Railroad when Burnett Stone called Stacy Jones that Lily wasn't on the train that goes to Muffle Mountain, and he told her that she boarded onto the one to Shining Time Station instead.
