Nickel in a Pickle is the thirteenth episode of the second season.
Plot
Schemer gets cocky while running the arcade and injures himself, but milks everyone's sympathy to the point where patience runs thin.

- Cotton Mather's name is seen in the closing credits as a stunt double. In this episode Cotton drives Barton's motorcycle inside of the station. Brian O'Connor always performed his own prat falls.
- You'll notice that Barton's manner of speaking always switches to 1950s slang whenever he puts on his leather jacket.
Goofs
- How could Schemer get a splinter from a smooth railing? He was not even near the railing when he fell.
- Poor Schemer's thumb injury can't be that serious. When it first happens, he holds up his right thumb. Later, in his Mexican guise, his left thumb is bandaged. When he returns dressed as an engineer, the bandage is back on his left thumb!
- When Mr. Conductor greets Dan, Kara and Becky by telling a Thomas story called "Thomas Comes to Breakfast", they're in Schemer's arcade. But after the story, they're at the ticket booth.
