Schemer Presents is a home video spinoff of Shining Time Station. Starring Brian 'O Connor as Schemer, and featuring the characters of Shining Time Station. Some new characters were introduced in this spinoff. Thomas the Tank Engine and Mr. Conductor didn't appear in this spinoff series.

In this spinoff, Schemer makes a series of home video lessons that sometimes teach people stuff. Sometimes he makes a mistake with his own lessons and that's when one of his friends come to help him.

• How to Get Something Done - Schemer is making a "closed for repairs" sign for Shining Time Station but he gets into an awful mess after he gets covered in glue, red glitter, and feathers.
• How to Have Style à la Schemer - Schemer is putting on a fashion show to make people dress like him.
• How to Use a Telephone - Schemer teaches everyone how to use a telephone.
• How to Share - Schemer tries to teach Schemee and Buster how to share.
• How to be Smart - Schemer shows everyone how to be smart.
• How to Tie your Shoes - Schemer is doing a lesson on tying your shoes or is he? He really talks about progress and the ever classic velcro strap shoes. Then Becky arrives to tell him that his mother is waiting for him at the station. Schemer almost panicked but then he remembered his velcro shoes but when he closed his eyes to show Becky how easy it is he put the straps on the wrong shoes! He then trips and breaks the velcro straps off, but he still won't wear the old fashioned shoes with laces. Then he remebered he had another pair of velcro shoes. He goes into the closet to get them, but then he notices he has only one velcro shoe. Then he tells Becky that he forgot how to tie his shoes. Becky then helps him tie his shoes
• How to Clean your Room - Schemer was somehow seen cleaning up his own room. Becky comes by to see it and it was strangly clean then she thinks everything is in the closet she looks and there's nothing in there! Then the bed opens up showing everything Schemer has! Then Becky helps Schemer clean his room and make the bed.
• How to Have Good Table Manners - Schemer and Schemee make a lesson about having good table manners. Then a painter named Ed comes in and shows them the proper way of having table manners.
• The Meaning of Time - Schemer has to take bread to Stacy's friend in Dillylick, but he ends up eating it.
• How to Apologize - Schemer must learn how to apologize.
